How to use $projectDir&$rootDir as sourceDir for .md lookup?

Hey,

we are using your plugin to make html out of our readme.md and changelog.md. Currently we moved to gitlab with our projects. There the default places for these .md files is the projetctRoot. We couldn't make the plugin work with $projectDir&$rootDir as sourceDir - is there a way to do that or could you add this as feature?
