I am trying to connect to mongo but I am getting the error msg above. I have read the README and installed as explained. Whats the fix?

I think that the mongoose version of ^6.1.3 doesn't allow for that option.
I think you can avoid including it.
I tried it with @typegoose/typegoose: "^9.4.0" recently and my connection was successful
