The main problem is absence of a simple theme with default terminal colors, so it does not blend well with other terminal apps.

Is it possible to add a theme with default 16 terminal colors so I could smassh a keyboard with my personal terminal theme?

I've tried browsing available themes but it's hard to find exactly what I need, the only solution is making my own theme.

Umm...after looking into it a bit. This will be problematic to allow just ansi terminal theme
Smassh also uses some custom css and I already saw some open issues regarding this in the underlying library that draws the tui :(

I'll add a functionality so it can pickup themes from the system. You'd be able to add a theme in maybe:

~/.config/smassh/themes/mytheme.tcss

and It'd pick it up? How does that sound?

Thank you for such a detailed answer! That would be wonderful! I thought there were a way to customize a theme already, but if not, than sure, it would be a good alternative!
