MOD150 diffuser detected as switch instead of humidifier

Hi !

I’m using a Meross Smart Wi-Fi Essential Oil Diffuser (MOD150) with Meross LAN (v5.8.0).

The device is detected correctly, but it is exposed as a simple on/off switch instead of a humidifier entity. With HomeKit and with the Meross Cloud integration (https://github.com/albertogeniola/meross-homeassistant/
), the same device is exposed as a humidifier.

As a humidifier entity, it is possible to select spray modes (off, light spray, heavy spray) and also control the percentage with a gauge, which effectively adjusts the operating mode.

Would it be possible to improve the device detection in Meross LAN so the MOD150 is exposed as a humidifier entity with selectable spray modes and percentage control, similar to the other integrations?

In my first implementation, I tried implementing the feature as an HA humidifier but it was not well designed at the time (many years ago) so that I decided to implement it through a simple switch.

I'll see if it now fits better with HA humidifier semantics (I don't even remember what wasn't satisfying at the time)
