Installation Issue on MacOS 12.2

I am currently working with gcc13 and python 3.9.7. I have been unable to install mtspec via conda and pip. The issue arises from the spectra.mod executable.

I'd currently consider mtspec to be unmaintained. If you want to make some improvements, please let me know.

Aside from this I'd recommend to use this package instead: https://github.com/gaprieto/multitaper
