🚨 Is ModelMesh Still Maintained?

Hi team,

I’ve been exploring modelmesh-serving as part of an evaluation for potential future use in our infrastructure. The project looks very promising, especially for reducing inference costs.

However, I’ve noticed several signs of low recent activity:

• Multiple open PRs without recent reviews
• Issues without responses
• No clear roadmap or release milestones

This raises a few questions:

• Is this project still being actively maintained?
• Are there any plans to deprecate it in favor of other alternatives ?
• If long-term support is uncertain, are there any recommended alternatives with similar goals?

Understanding the future direction of this repo would really help clarify whether it makes sense to invest more time testing it further.

@fabidick22 seems like a lot of development has shifted to https://github.com/opendatahub-io/modelmesh-serving including some original maintainers of this project. I'll definitely be looking into migrating our modelmesh workloads to the ODH fork.
