Allow Item Orthogonal Rotation

Hi!

Is it possible to allow rotation (swap length and width) for some of the items?

I was thinking about add one more decision variable in binpacking.py on item orientation, which seems to work. However for the OrthogonalPacking i was struggling on the implementation, any sugguestions or plans to add it?

Adding a decision variable will not suffice, you will also have to update the placement point generation, as more rotations result in more placement points.

Can you explain why you are stuck in OrthogonalPacking? It is a similar model.

I can review PRs but I have no plans on adding features at the moment.
