Terraform apply gets stuck at Waiting for load-balancer...

Description

i have a cluster running with 1 control plane node, and 2 workers

cluster has been updated frequently using

• terraform init --upgrade
• terraform apply --auto-approve

but we haven't touched this cluster for a couple of months, tried running an upgrade again, and it always gets stuck and eventually times out at the same point when it tries to do something through system-upgrade. it just keeps on repeating the same message for 5-6 minutes and eventually fails with this message:

i don't see that hetzner is trying to provision anything or if the kubernetes cluster is trying to do anything either.

@virtuman Try to avoid having your first agent nodepool with a count of 0. And make sure the formatting like:

  source_ips      = ["15.15.15.15/32" #,
	#"0.0.0.0/0", "::/0"
  ]

Are fixed, not sure about the viability fo comments without variables definitions themselves.

fails with same error. any other recommendations by any chance?
