External DNS support policy

Hello, what is the support policy for External DNS. Which versions are supported at a given time? I went through the docs but couldn't find anything relevant to this.

If i were to use external-dns in my prod env, which version should I use?

In general we don't backport fixes, so the only supported version is the latest. We call out breaking changes between version. More info are in the release docs in the docs folder.

Thanks, and just to be extra sure latest version here means the latest major.minor.patch version not just major.minor
