gcr.io is deprecated and scheduled for shutdown

As mentioned here, the gcr.io container registry is being shut down. We are currently using the gcr.io/k8s-staging-perf-tests/sleep image for testing. Do you plan to migrate it to another registry, such as registry.k8s.io?

We should prefer to use a publicly hosted image on registry.k8s.io

Staging is meant to be project internal as an implementation detail of publishing to registry.k8s.io

Probably we can use agnhost or pause
