So for example, if I am the lead for bug triage on the release team, I may have two, three or four people that I closely work with on the bug triage tasks. These people are my shadows. And once they have served one release cycle as a shadow, they are now eligible to be lead in that role. We have an application form for this process, and it should probably be going up in January.
