While I was writing this exact feature request, I had noticed this was already submitted. As the feature request I was just writing contains some details of how this could be potentially done, with a photoshopped image included, I feel like it would be best if I post it here instead of creating new issue.

The thing is. You may have once seen a circuit board schematics, like ones that come with old cars, showing wiring diagrams. The point of this proposed feature is to allow a better way to show the diagram of the audio processing chain, just like circuit board diagrams. It also doesn't help when you have many of node connections crossing with each other and no way to differentiate between each connection.

Describe the solution you'd like
The chain view should be decorated with a dashed square overlay, representing the grid in which the chain is visually illustrated.

I will attach edited screenshots of Element showing the desired look of the grid feature. (Photoshopped)

Grid snapping is when a node is being snapped to the grid where vertical and horizontal dashed lines connect.

Describe alternatives you've considered
Already existing nested graphs could also be utilized to clean up the processing chain, but it is more visually pleasing to see the whole processing chain sorted.
