There is no limit imposed by the plugin itself. Not sure what the problem would be. |

Thanks Michael for your quick reply, even if it leaves me clueless. I might give the new beta a try and report back if this changed anything. |

Ok, that makes sense then. every node added to the graph creates necessary
audio and midi buffers. I bet if you deleted the IO nodes entirely you
could get more instances... but that defeats the purpose. There isn't much
I can do about this problem unfortunately. Buffers are needed to render
the graph, and this is already optimized so that buffers are shared
wherever possible in the DSP chain.

Hello Michael,
I did some tests over the weekend:
In a fresh project with 96 tracks and some audio to check the playback I
inserted 78 blank instances of Element FX without any issues. After adding
no79 audio stopped working. After removing no79 everything was back to
normal.
Next, I did the exact same test but with BluecatsAudio Patchwork. I
inserted more than 100 instances without any misbehavior.
In my previous post I wrote that audio stopps at arround 61 instances but
this was with a full blown project with other plug-ins and more complex
routing.
