Is there the limitation like this?:

• No functionality implemented to select specific snapshots to read data even if there is historical information in the metadata file
• data from the most recent snapshot is always read

As desribed in the documentation, we currently don't support reading a specific snapshot of the data. Data from the most recent snapshot is always read.
Do you want to read a specific snapshot of the iceberg table? If yes, can you open a feature request?
