In my opinion, having the ability to render the voxels as 2D rectangles instead of 3D rectangular prisms would be nice, as that is more typical for how voxel terrain of this type is/was rendered, and in my opinion, produces much smoother and less jagged-looking terrain when compared to using polygons, which draw attention to the corners of the voxels in a way that 2D voxels do not.
