Since version 11.7.1, MariaDB support vector. This is a super fast implementation (see some blog
The goal is to support MariaDB with langchain

Motivation

I've write https://github.com/rusher/langchain-mariadb and this is ready.

Proposal (If applicable)

to transfert ownership to langchain-ai

I'm not sure this is the best way to submit this new project. Is there any other way ?

i've seen 2 differents approch :

• having vector store in langchain_community
• a separate repo.

I've made https://github.com/rusher/langchain-mariadb as the separate repository approch, but can change as a PR to langchain_community.
