How about a LangChain & LangGraph Developer Competition?

Hi!

I was thinking: To increase visibility and engagement for LangChain and LangGraph, it would be great if the team organize a competition or hackaton that showcases the frameworks' capabilities in real-world AI applications, inviting the entire community.

I think it could be beneficial:

• Increasing framework adoption and community growth
• Generation of real-world use cases and providing inspiration to others.
• Identification of potential improvements or new features for the frameworks

I would love to do this. What format do you think would be best? One idea a friend had: instead of a hackathon, what about some sort of competition. Eg everyone builds an agent to play chess or something (need to determine best game) and then we have a tournament

Yes, something like this could be great. Let me brainstorming some ideas:

• Forecast Development: In this idea, my proposal is the following: evaluate which AI autonomous agent develop for its own the best forecast model. All participants start with a predefined dataset (training, testing, validation), the agent only has 3 tools (for example): a) Search on Tavily b) Search in Kaggle (for more features) c) Python REPL (for running code).

• Global virtual board game with user agents: Users develop individual agents that participate in a shared virtual board game environment with other user-created agents (like a common virtual board game area, where all agents are joined together).

• Freedom decision about the development: What if we let the users to brainstorm and create its own creative AI autonomous agents for real-world problems. Then, they could be evaluated by AI experts, in aspects like impact in the world, in a businesses, also, code readability, model selection, accuracy, complexity, costs, etc...

I will keep looking for another alternatives, but in the meanwhile I thought these ones

Is it possible to use the kaggle platform for it? It has all tools for this sort of thing.
