1. why some methods not implemented as per ara standards? whats the difference?
2. The method will be called via DM after RequestReset is being triggered.

   how it will call not get from exact it has been called ????
3. we know that any service request will go through doip, but not able to find out how doip to DM is interacted? Please provide clarity on this.

1. why some methods not implemented as per ara standards? whats the difference?

It was mainly because of the time limitation (details are explained in the project closure event). Differences are mentioned in the project wiki.

2. The method will be called via DM after RequestReset is being triggered: void ExecuteReset(const MetaInfo &metaInfo); how it will call not get from exact it has been called ????

Refer to the implementation file: ecu_reset_request.cpp. The relation between these two functions is via mResetTypeFuture while the direct call to both RequestReset and ExecuteReset is from the caller side and not the call side (besides bear in mind that the ECU resetting is not supported in this project).

3. we know that any service request will go through doip, but not able to find out how doip to DM is interacted? Please provide clarity on this.

There is not necessarily an interaction with between DM and DoIP in all the cases. In this project, there is no use cases of both in the same scenario. DM is used here in project only for monitoring purposes (please refer to diagnostic_manager.cpp).

Referring to Specification of Diagnostics ARA document, the return type of RequestReset should be ara::core::Future<void> while the return type of the method in this project is std::future<void>.

For the 2nd question, who will be the caller side??? DM or application or client?

DM.
