Should I run Octane by itself or behind web server (eg, nginx) ?

I want to know should I run octane using octane:start or should I proxy pass from a web server like nginx, If there is a IT DEPENDS situation, then what are those?

When using nginx, you still have to run the octane server. In my tests with nginx or not, the performance is the same.
