using cache control middelware does not work with Jetstream

Hi

I was trying to use the caches control middleware on a new JetSteam app
Using this: https://laravel.com/docs/8.x/responses#cache-control-middleware

I copied the navigation and modified it so there is no reference to auth user, but then the cache headers is not set

Is that a bug or by-design ?
