Arr::get() contains a logic error?

I was browsing the source to know when a default value is returned in the Arr::get() method. When reading, I saw this line:

return $array[$key] ?? value($default);

The $array[$key] ?? is redundant here but Taylor just think it's not because he closed the PR I made.
Or i'm missing something here?
