Aspirational release date for vite-plugin for vite 5?

It appears that the code required for vite 5 support for vite-plugin has been merged into a 1.x branch. Does anyone know whether there is an aspirational timeline for that being released?

I couldn't find any public documentation for this, is there typically public documentation for this sort of thing, or is it company internal?
