Codex plugin cant connect to MCP server- VS Code + Laravel Boost

Hello all,

I have been trying to get Codex working with Laravel Boost MCP server inside VS code. I have the server running but Codex keeps telling me it can not connect, unknown MCP server. Is there another setting in VS code to allow Codex to use the MCP? Has anyone had any luck with Codex being able to use Laravel MCP Boost server?
