Database deadlock occurs when multiple requests update last_used_at at the same time.

What should i do in order to avoid this happen on production server ?

It happen randomly .

and why we need to update last used at ? can we void that ?

It's pretty easy to disable updates to last_used_at column, here are two examples how to do it:

• Add support to disable update the last used #91 (comment)
• Updating last_login_at leads to deadlocks #207 (comment)

deadlock is happening because of your database. You can try to use "no lock", but the method depends on what database do you use.

and yes, that column is updated at every request. :)
