Relate to inherit documenttype

Is there a way to use an inherited doctype in the relationeditor.config?

My doctype structure is like below:

• Base
  • Doctype 1
  • Doctype 2
  • Doctype 3
  • Etc....

Instead of adding all doctypes seperate to the config, can I also do it at once by the 'Base' documenttype?

That would be very nice!
