Dino is the leading expert on MMC SBEC3 tuning and programming. With his approach you can read the contents of the controller's flash memory and write something else back. He developed this table tool that you may find useful: I don't remember the table offsets, but if this is the right way to go, we can get them for you. There is no public tool for the other calibratable values yet. |

Howdy, fellow 2GNT'er. I maintain a couple of pages in the 2gnt wiki that contains offsets by part number that you may find helpful. |

Super excited to get my sbec3 420a mitsubishi eclipse up and going again.
I was on the wordpress when i first discovered this idea. What are helpful tools to aide in adjusting ecm parameters?
I seen a windows hex calculator being shown in the forums.
I know there are applications that can translate some of it into a fuel table to help visualize some of it. Not gonna lie ok to decent with computers but this is gonna be a great learning curve for me.
I'm wanting to add more fuel across the speed density map, add more ignition timing for 91 octane fuel, disable any applicable speed limiter,
And increase the fuel cut slightly higher. I'm non turbo with headers full exhaust and a 60mm throttle body with intake porting. Possible camshafts because I'm sending my spare set off to be built up and reground.
I have an idea for a turbo in the future if remapping the entire fuel table is possible with a 2 bar map. And linearly increasing the fuel table above the positive range of map sensor voltage on boost.
My car is also automatic transmission and used the chrysler A604/41te so I'm hopping I can find resources on that to see what's possible there. Wouldn't mind keeping the auto if i can improve it because I build alot of automatic transmissions and know them almost in and out mechanically lol.
This is my favorite car and ive learned so much about older Chrysler systems becuse of this. Ive been on the GM side for 10+ years lol
Thanks for giving me ideas!
