Postgres, custom enum types

Hello everyone, it's not super clear to me how to use custom types with postgres.
I created a custom type on postgres like this:

CREATE TYPE mytype AS ENUM (
    'First',
    'Second',
    'Third'
);

Then in rust I have an enum such as this:

#[derive(Serialize, Deserialize, Debug, Display, sqlx::Type)]
#[sqlx(type_name = "mytype")]
pub enum MyType {
    First,
    Second,
    Third
}

but when I try to query, for example like this:

let custom_type_field = MyType::First;
sqlx::query!(
    r#"
    INSERT INTO table (id, custom_type_field)
    VALUES ($1, $2)
    "#,
    id,
    custom_type_field
)
.execute(pool)
.await?

I get unsupported type mytype for param #2

What am I missing? Thanks.

try: INSERT INTO table (id, custom_type_field AS "custom_type_field: MyType") ...

I think you need to use " " not ' '

This is what ended up working for me, if anyone stumbles onto this thread:

I think its also worth mentioning that to fix SQLX working with Uuid, I had to use version 0.8.2 of the uuid crate, anything higher than that just gave me a boatload of errors.

I'm using version 1.2.1 (current latest) without issues.
