I think because of you used dark theme, and you're saying it is visible on link so this is not problem, try different colors

I wrote DAEMONSET in white font just to confirm this behavior but it's not showing as well..

Text Boxes don't show up in design embeddings @RanitMukherjee
Either use labels or images.
