Windows Notification Icon Colors are Inverted in Light Theme #184

@Dimi20cen

Description

@Dimi20cen

Observed behavior

The Kolibri tray icon appears with inverted colors within Windows notifications when the system is set to the "Light" theme. This makes the icon's background blue and the bird yellow. The issue does not occur when using the Windows dark theme, nor was it present in the legacy windows app application. Note: The kolibri tray icon was introduced with PR #182.

Expected Behavior

The Kolibri icon should appear with its correct, non-inverted colors in the notification, just as it does in the system tray itself, regardless of the Windows theme.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. On Windows 11, go to Settings > Personalization > Colors.
  2. Set "Choose your mode" to Light.
  3. Launch the Kolibri application.
  4. Wait for the "Kolibri is starting..." or "Kolibri Ready" notification to appear.
  5. Observe that the colors of the Kolibri logo within the notification are inverted.
