Issue with "Save and Return to Course" when Glossary Filter is Enabled

Hello,

We have noticed a strange behavior on our Moodle platform (version 4.1.14).

When we try to add a mod_collabora activity with the "word processor document" option and click "Save and return to course", the loading time is long, and I see an error in the log files (attached for reference).

I have identified that this issue is related to filter_glossary. When I disable it, everything works fine (but we need it 🙂).

Interestingly, if we click "Save and display" instead, it works correctly.

Could it be that both caches are conflicting by locking the same information?
How can we fix this issue?

Hi Jeremy,

thank you for reporting this problem. Unfortunately I could not reproduce it at all.
What I have tested:

1. Activate glossary filter
2. Add a glossary in my course with the setting "Automatic link" active.
3. Add two entries to the glossary also with "Auto-linkin" active.
4. Check the glossary filter by adding a simple page which includes the to entries.
5. Add a new collabora document from type "Wordprocessor document".

No error has been shown. Maybe I missed something.
Does the error still appear on the latest version of Moodle 4.1 and collabora?
