Question: recent version added \n which breaks old systems

I think the following commit:
826abbb
seems to add \n in places where they have not been before. In my case this leads to my parsers not being able to parse the data in the pdf files anymore.
before rewriting my whole parser I wanted to ask if there is a way of using the "old" behaviour?

(concrete example: this file did not have any \n after using GetPlainText())
