Any help needed for using a laragon setup that has a signature? So windows defender doesn't block it. #1295

Hello, I just want to help since I can’t run the laragon setup exe without
Windows defender blocks it and defines it as an unsigned app. Thats all.

Hey @bugraaydemir @MackSix, @bugraaydemir your effort is welcome! I understand @MackSix's first reaction because switching channels is a strategy also used by shady accounts. (That's why ignored this topic too at first) But I also see your account exists since 2022. I now tag @leokhoa here as he can decide if it's possible to support him. The SmartScreen protection was discussed many times here and you might want to have a look into closed issues and discussions. As far as I remember, there is a valid certificate for @leokhoa – but also a problem with one of the vendors. Thanks for getting in touch! |

I have never seen it not give the Defender block after it was signed. It has always done that with the installer executable. The Laragon executible is fine. |

Very simple. App does not have signature from a trusted SSL issuer, you can
just google it. Workaround works but I could not be bothered by an app from
a unknown entity.
