Due to now frequent changes and F1TV breaking things, an in-app updating option would come in pretty handy to fix things quickly.
A code snippet is already available here, just needs checks when this should be triggered to download (comparing versions).

Bundled with a notification, there should be a process that checks this every start and manually through a button in the settings.
