I can't change to color or piece.

When I open leocad, I have a blank canvas and no way to add anything except with the 'insert piece' tool and that doesn't really count because I cannot figure out how to change to color/piece or add a new/different piece.

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to 'leocad app'
2. Click on 'nothing' [it is blank]
3. Scroll down to 'nothing' [there is nowhere to go/look]
4. See error

have you looked at enabling all the widgets? please share screen capture of your leocad window and or a clip of what you are trying to do - I would also suggest to go through leocad's readme / manual to get acquainted witht the basics.
