How to apply my style?

I don't understand how to apply style on controls.
For example I want style where ui:Button has Appearance="Danger". I've created style and then I try to use it. But it doesn't works - control resets default wpf-ui style.
My XAML example:

        <Style x:Key="buttonStyle" TargetType="ui:Button">
            <Setter Property="Appearance" Value="Danger"/>
        </Style>
    </Page.Resources>
    <Grid Margin="56,0" VerticalAlignment="Top">
        <StackPanel>
            <ui:Button x:Name="WhatIwant" Content="Click me!" Icon="Fluent24" Appearance="Danger" />
            <ui:Button x:Name="ResourceStyle" Style="{StaticResource buttonStyle}" Content="Click me!" Icon="Fluent24" />
            <ui:Button x:Name="StyleInsideButton" Content="Click me!" Icon="Fluent24">
                <ui:Button.Style>
                    <Style TargetType="ui:Button">
                        <Setter Property="Appearance" Value="Danger"/>
                    </Style>
                </ui:Button.Style>
            </ui:Button>
        </StackPanel>
    </Grid>

Result:

How I understand this approach to apply style doesn't work with all wpf-ui controls. How to do it properly?

For ui:Button in sources I found style "DefaultUiButtonStyle" .
Button will be look normal if implement style like this:

        <Style x:Key="buttonStyle" TargetType="ui:Button" BasedOn="{StaticResource DefaultUiButtonStyle}">
            <Setter Property="Appearance" Value="Danger"/>
        </Style>

For specific control I need to find control style and override it with BasedOn="{StaticResource StyleName}".
It will be good to have list of control to style correspondence.
