how to make it work in Android phones

Hi,
I downloaded the apk from here: https://github.com/libnoname/noname/releases/tag/chromium91-client
But when I open the game and I clicke the red button, I get a "failed to fetch" error, most likely when it is trying to install v. 1.10.17.1 .
How can I sort it?

Hello,

Since most players of noname are from China, and GitHub access here isn't as stable as elsewhere, the download button uses a proxy website to speed up access for Chinese users, and it might cause direct download issues for players outside China.

You can download the project source files (or the noname.core.zip from Releases, which only contains required assets), then try opening the zip package through your file manager. You should see options like "无名杀导入（诗笺版）"/"无名杀导入（由理版）"/"noname" (depending on your client version) when asking how to open it. After granting permissions, the client will automatically extract the files. Just wait for the extraction to finish and you can start playing.

I guess I should extract the zip file into the directory where the game is installed; but I cannot find where it is installed... I am checking inside Android/data since I see there all my apps, but I cannot find Noname there... So I don't know where should I extract it...

How to Open a ZIP File in Google Files Manager (com.google.android.apps.nbu.files):

1. Locate the ZIP file (e.g., noname-1.10.17.zip) in the app.
2. Tap the three-dot menu icon (⋮) next to the file.
3. Select "Open with" from the menu.
4. Follow the steps mentioned in previous reply to proceed with the extraction or viewing process.

It worked!! I didn't know I could open it from another app.

Now the issue is that the app is failing to download the rest of resources ( images, etc)... I guess I must download them from somewhere and try the same?

If you downloaded "noname.core.zip", it only contains the basic files and the latest version of image/audio assets.

You should instead download "source code.zip" from the GitHub Releases section—this file includes all necessary files for other platforms (such as .exe). Just extract that file instead.

This project doesn't require any compilation tools, so you can either:

1. Use it directly after downloading on your computer, or
2. Import it using the corresponding client's import function

However, since no compilation tools are used, there are specific browser requirements:

• Chromium-based browsers: Version 91 or higher required
• Safari: Version 16 or higher recommended (due to potential inconsistencies between Safari and Chromium implementations)

After launching the game, you can:

1. Check your WebView kernel version, or
2. Switch WebView kernels (Android only)
   These options are available under the "其他" menu in the navigation bar.
