Docker build image size?

Each time now that I've built a docker image for librespot, the image ends up massive.

The second time I rebuilt it, it was even bigger than the first time.

6.9G librespot.tar

The instructions in the Dockerfile are a bit confusing so I was hoping someone could guide me on the right commands to build a x86-only librespot container. I am building with features disabled, as I am only going to pipe audio to snapserver.
