Description
Hi Linear team,
I’m a developer building a VS Code extension that depends on your linear-connect extension (linear.linear-connect). While publishing my extension to OpenVSX I ran into an issue: OpenVSX rejects my package because it can’t resolve the dependency on linear.linear-connect.
It seems your extension is currently only available on the Microsoft Visual Studio Marketplace. Since many VS Code–compatible editors (like Cursor, VSCodium, etc.) use OpenVSX as their default marketplace, having linear-connect published there would ensure seamless installation for developers in those environments.
Would you consider publishing linear-connect to OpenVSX as well? The process is relatively straightforward, and OpenVSX provides documentation here: https://github.com/eclipse/openvsx/wiki/Publishing-Extensions
Having your extension available on both marketplaces would make it much easier for the community to integrate Linear across different editors.
Thanks a lot for considering this, and please let me know if I can help test or validate once it’s published.
Best,
Dan
