Lingarr works with subs inside video?

Hello, i just discover this great app but i have a question about how it works, let me put an example.
If i have an anime episode that have the subs integrated with the video, let`s say there is only english subs, lingarr will work to transalte these subs to, for example spanish? Remember there is no .srt file , the subs are inside the video

No, you have to use Bazarr to extract the subtitles, from there it can translate

I managed to extract embedded subtitles using bazarr, my question now is.
I set up the automation ( i check before that manual transalation is working ) to run every 15 minutes and put the limit of translations to 10 and when it runs, because almost of my library doesn`t have extracted subs for the moment, only a few animes, it try to translate random episodes and it fails. This is the expected behaviour? It should not check all library and if there is 20 episodes with subtitles in english translate 10 of them?

Failed to deserialize setting 'source_languages' usually means that the system you use doesn't provide environment variables properly. I assume you are on Unraid, Unraid need single quotes around source language and target language.

Thanks, you are right, i am using unraid and someone already create the template to make easier the instalation.
in the templante, for the variables of source and target languages they putted like this:

How i would need to format it? also if i want only one language?

ok, this is very weird.
I put what you told me, for the source_language and for the target_language ( i change to spanish ) and when i restart de docker there is no configuration saved, nothing ( not sonarr, radarr, my choice of service_type, my open ai key ) and i only changed the languages variables.
So if i delete the languages variables and restart the dockers and select them in the UI it works fine.
By the way, i am using Mysql database and i have mapped the /app/config, and it created the forlder but there is no data inside ( i check owenership and permision already )

EDIT: by the way, super thanks for your help and for maintain / created this. I am still testing it with some animes and using gpt-o4-mini delivers great results for what i see yet and at a really low price.

I see, that's an issue on Unraid sadly. If you add them in your system they are saved within mysql too so that should indeed resolve it. /app/config is only used for the sqlite db indeed, you can remove the volume configuration if you feel like it.
