exec /usr/lib/linkerd/linkerd2-proxy-identity: exec format error

Hi all,

I am quite new to linkerd.

I have linkerd set up in my cluster and a service running MinIO has linkerd-proxy injected.

However, as you can see, the linkerd-proxy is in CrashLoopBackOff and it gives the message

exec /usr/lib/linkerd/linkerd2-proxy-identity: exec format error 

Can someone help explain what that means?

Please note that I have got the linkerd components set up.

• linkerd-destination
• linkerd-identity
• linkerd-proxy-injector
• linkerd-multicluster

Hi guys,

When I change my Linkerd Control Plane Helm Chart to Edge, the issue is resolved.

The below shows that it's running correctly.

The linkerd-proxy image which runs fine is this

cr.l5d.io/linkerd/proxy:edge-23.3.1
