linkerd check failing with probe services able to communicate with all gateway mirrors | 2.14.0

Hello everyone,

I've just upgraded Linkerd to 2.14.0 and reconfigured the multicluster to use the gatewayless approach mentioned here.

Whenever I run linkerd check it fails during the multicluster check:

$ linkerd multicluster check

linkerd-multicluster

        wrong number (0) of probe gateways for target cluster <cluster name>

Since I don't have a gateway anymore, should it still be checking it? There are no gateway-level probes anymore.

I haven't found any flags to bypass this.

Client version: stable-2.14.0
Server version: stable-2.14.0

Can someone share some ideas on how to move forward? Thank you.
