It's probably because the calculator app is not welly tested for non-English and non-Chinese locale (which uses dot instead of comma to input decimal numbers). I'll forward this to the related team later :) |

I'm using a german keyboard and my physical numpad has a comma next to the zero key. From my perspective it would be useful if the comma character was accepted because it's very close to the number keys, however right now the comma key is simply ignored. Instead I have to reach across half of the keyboard to press the period key (or use my other hand), which makes long calculations rather tedious, and incurs muscle strain.
Would it be possible to interpret the comma key as a period instead of outright discarding it?
EDIT: I didn't realise I was redirected to Linux Deepin while trying to submit a troubleshooting ticket. The above issue concers the Deepin Calculator application.
