Devnagari font support in terminal

#2786 Still, after all these years, Deepin Terminal fails to render Devanagari fonts correctly. This bug severely limits usability for users working with South Asian scripts. In contrast, both GNOME Terminal and Konsole handle Devanagari rendering flawlessly. It’s long overdue for Deepin Terminal to support proper font shaping and Unicode compliance for Indic scripts.

Just to confirm, does QTerminal support such font? deepin-terminal is based on a modified version of QTermWidget which is originally for QTerminal. If QTerminal have such support, we can pull related change as well.

No Qterminal also does not render devnagari font under deepin. kde konsole and gnome terminal have good support of those fonts.

I have no Devnagari font knowledge so I personally cannot help adding such support. I guess it's worth to submit this issue to the QTerminal project so QTermWidget might have a chance to receive a fix and we will be able to backport the patch to the version that deepin-terminal uses. If so, feel free to post a link of the upstream report here so people also want such feature could track the process there :)

terminal emulator, I implemented in QML with a standard pty back-end, provides robust Unicode support, enabling it to render text from virtually any language. A full analysis of its limitations has not been conducted, but its capability for processing Unicode is evident.
