API access for metrics

In order to do a supply-chain risk assessment. I think it'd be nice to be able to query for metrics with an API. Specifically I was thinking about using an SBOM to create a list of technologies to investigate and then looking up those projects here. I'd prefer to do this offline by first downloading a copy of this database and doing it all locally so as not to run into rate limiting issues.

Are there plans for implementing an API or ability to export the database?
