Fine adjustment granularity parameters are wonky.

Why use two parameters? Granularity and actual offset/rotate amount... Fine adjustment is only useful as its title suggest: fine. In my opinion, having only one parameter, movement amount, starting at 0.01 and being adjustable up to 0.1 and down to 0.001 would make more sense.

It may be badly named, but that is exactly what is going on. The first parameter is the granularity, the second is the amount to move

Well, like I suggested, there is no reason to ever use fine adjustment UNLESS you want really precise tuning for the translate and rotate tool. I think this is actually a crucial feature to have. No doubt. When positioning control surface for example or to have seamless link between various wing part.

The thing I find useless is the fact that the tool have two parameters. I understand how they work but it seems futile to have two when only one, actual movement amount, would be sufficient.

The "sweet" spot for the precision mode "movement amount" in my opinion should never need to be above 0.1 and, frankly, below 0.001 I see no point either. This was just a suggestion to simplify the tool layout a bit.

While the idea of the ranges is ok, why do you think that two parameters are useless? The first controls the granualarity of the amount of changes to the tool itself

Why not use just a slider (if possible) or, perhaps, buttons like "Min" to set it to 0.001, "Max" to set it to 0.1, "Default" to set it back to 0.01? Just some suggestion. There is also the possibility of directly typing in a value for user who want precise movement amounts...
