[BUG] Slow download on local network

Current Behavior

Using both the desktop client and in browser I barely get 10-15mb download. I have confirmed I can get just shy of 1gb across my network, on SMB from the nextcloud share I get about 200mb. I checked within the container and it can read of just under 2gb from disk. This is connecting via local IP. I'm not sure what else to try, I am connecting fine on http2 on https.

Do you have this setup behind a reverse proxy? Are you using NAT Hairpin on your router? Out of interest, what speed internet connection do you have?

It is via a reverse proxy yes. I'm using DNS records on AGH and have confirmed it is using the local IP by tracert, but also by unplugging my WAN connection. I have 60mb internet connection, so the low speed I am getting is actually up to twice the speed I would get on LAN anyway.

Ok, you might want to check your browser isn't using DoH or something by default. That'll skip past your AGH instance.

Worth noting that nothing we have in the container would determine/limit the speed you can get. Potentially maybe if your reverse proxy is configured incorrectly but that's me scraping for ideas.

As I say I've tried with the WAN unplugged, also through the nextcloud app within windows and It's the exact same speed, which is double my internet connection gets (had it been plugged in).

Yeah, I'm pretty stumped at this point too. I have other services via the reverse proxy set up the same but they get the full network speed.

Checked for any io/bottlenecks on your system logs when you're trying to do transfers?

we are unable to reproduce this on individual instances nor on our linuxserver.io group instance. No response from OP since May 11th, closing this as can't reproduce
