Global toggle to deactive doesn't turn off for all tabs

In the toolbar popup, when I click the button for "Toggle monochrome mode" for "Greyscale Filter" to go from "Active" to "Inactive", it works to turn the tab I'm currently on back to color. However, all other tabs remain monochrome still.

this might be due to the fact that by default browser sometimes mark the tab inactive and then extension no longer have access to those tabs although I cant be too sure
what browser and it's version are you using if I may ask?

btw ... does this happen all the time ?

@dwangus I was preparing a new release so your response regarding this would be beneficial .. like is it happening all the time or at infrequent intervals?

this happens pretty consistently

oh I see hmmm ..... I will look into it .... most likely it is because of the reason I stated before but not sure
