Incompatible with PHP 8

Hi, I'm upgrading my clients site to 2.4.4 which uses PHP 8.1. However, upon running composer update, the latest version in the composer file is PHP 7.4. Will this be changed?

Ditto for me. Bump.

I try to run (as per normal):
composer require --no-update livechat/module-magento-livechat

And get this message:
Package livechat/module-magento-livechat has requirements incompatible with your PHP version, PHP extensions and Composer version: - livechat/module-magento-livechat 2.4.1 requires php ~5.5.0|~5.6.0|~7.0.0|~7.1.0|~7.2.0|~7.3.0|~7.4.0 which does not match your inst alled version 8.1.5.
