Is there a way to limit reloading to only current tab?

Most of the time I have multiple tabs open of the same app,
so when they all get reloaded, my Rails server gets bomarded with several requests

Sounds like a useful feature.
I guess you'd want the other tabs to somehow queue the reloads and only execute them once you activate the tab?
