The diagram shows the sum of expenses per month grouped by different shops/supermarkets (German companies such as Aldi, Rewe, dm) It is a kind of budget book |

@joshhanley Hey Josh! With the recent chart work that's gone live, is it possible to shine a light on this discussion again? Donut/Pie charts would be so incredibly useful to have and now feels like the missing puzzle piece for Flux Charts |

@JonPurvis anything's possible! The biggest issue I see with this, is the existing chart stuff probably can't be used as line/area/bar are all on a cartesian plane, where as a pie is a little different. We'll keep it in mind! |

I wanted to move away from Chart.js since my project was only using it for donut charts. After taking some inspiration from how Flux currently handles their charts, I spent some time last week building my own solution: https://github.com/JonPurvis/radial. It supports both donut and pie charts, works in light and dark mode, and includes features like flexible legend positioning, hover states, tooltips, and animations. If Flux eventually adds support for donut/pie charts, I’ll probably mark this package as abandoned, but for now it scratches an itch I had in my own project.

@JonPurvis the 👆sample I posted above is using flux. Just requires a patch into the JS library to support it fully. |
